BIO
Leonardo Babun is an NSF CyberCorps Scholarship For Service (SFS) Alumni that received his Doctoral Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Florida International University in Spring 2020. He is also a team-member of the Cyber-Physical Systems Security Lab (CSL).
He previously completed an M.S. in Computer Engineering and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Florida International University in 2019 and 2015, respectively.
His research interests are focused on the security and privacy of the Internet of Things (IoT) and the Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS), digital forensics of smart settings, compromised device detection, device fingerprinting, big data analytics, and distributed computing. He also has worked in areas related to 5G LTE, D2D communications, and public safety communications. You can contact him at lbabu002@fiu.edu.
